Read The Room
Terms of Service

Acceptance of terms
By downloading or using Read The Room ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
What Read The Room is
Read The Room is a self-improvement and entertainment app that offers social-coaching content, interactive practice scenarios, and a self-assessment quiz (the "Ick Audit") focused on confidence, communication, and respectful dating behavior.
It is personalized coaching content based on your own answers — not medical, psychiatric, psychological, or legal advice, and not a scientifically validated diagnostic or clinical assessment. Nothing in the app should be treated as professional advice; if you're dealing with a mental health concern or a relationship situation involving safety, please consult a qualified professional.
Who can use it
Read The Room is intended for users aged 17 and older, given its focus on adult dating and relationship dynamics.
The spirit of this app
Read The Room exists to help people become easier to talk to, more self-aware, and more respectful — never the opposite. By using the app, you agree not to use anything you learn here to manipulate, pressure, coerce, harass, or disregard another person's boundaries or a stated "no." Confidence, in this app, means honesty and appropriate initiative — never entitlement.
Your content and data
Your progress, quiz answers, and scores are stored locally on your device only, as described in the Privacy Policy. We don't collect or host any of it.
Intellectual property
All app content — text, lessons, scenarios, design, and branding — is owned by Raul Sanchez and may not be copied or redistributed without permission. Read The Room is an independent project, not a product of a larger company.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee any particular outcome — social, romantic, or otherwise — from using it.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Raul Sanchez is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes
We may update the app or these terms over time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
