Read The Room
Privacy Policy
Last updated July 27, 2026
The short version: Read The Room does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There's no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no server. Everything the app remembers about you stays on your device.
What we collect
Nothing. Read The Room has no backend, no user accounts, and no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. We do not know who you are, and we have no way to identify you.
What's stored on your device
Your training progress — streak counts, XP, completed modules, Scenario Trainer scores, badges, and your Ick Audit diagnosis answers and results — is saved locally on your device only. It never leaves your device, is never uploaded anywhere, and is never shared with the developer or anyone else.
Deleting the app deletes this data. There is no cloud backup, sync, or account to recover it from.
Children's privacy
Read The Room's content deals with adult dating and relationship dynamics and is not directed at or intended for children. It is not intended for use by anyone under 17. We do not knowingly collect information from children because we do not collect information from anyone, of any age.
Your rights
Because no personal data is collected or stored outside your device, there is no data for us to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf. You can clear all app data at any time by deleting the app from your device.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds an optional account or analytics — we'll update this page and the in-app version, and clearly note what changed and when.
